marjorie henriquez received her associate of fine arts degree in visual arts at northern virginia community college. she is a graduate of marymount university, and has a bachelor of arts in design studies, with a minor in graphic and media design.
she has placed her main focus on visual design and painting. she currently works at a custom stationery shop as an artist. where she draws and paints venues, pets, and cocktails of all sorts for custom stationery.

at 12 years old, she was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). while she may have irritated bones from time to time, her creative bone remains strong and continues to strengthen.
growing up, she was frequently in environments where she was able to connect to people of all ages with different illnesses. which is why she strongly values the importance of diversity, inclusivity, and empathy.

on her free time, she likes to ride her bicycle. her favorite hobby is still painting, she enjoys painting characters from horror movies.

a fun fact about lupus is that a large portion of patients are photosensitive. meaning they're unusually sensitive to the sun, it is important to limit sun exposure and/or wear sunscreen to prevent flare ups.
making the best of this restriction, marjorie simply became interested in all things celestial.

in sum, her combined love of painting, drawing, and celestials is what inspired the logo.
